About the YPLC
YPLC is more than a conference — it’s a movement of young leaders answering God’s call to serve with courage and creativity. Each year, participants leave renewed, refocused, and ready to lead in every area of ministry and life.

In 2012, Reverend Dr. Charles B. Jackson, Sr., Senior Pastor of Brookland Baptist Church, launched what was then called the Young Pastors and Ministers’ Series in celebration of his 50th year in ministry.
The vision was simple but powerful — to create a space where young pastors, ministers, and leaders could learn from experienced voices, gain practical ministry tools, and grow in both faith and leadership.

Over the past thirteen years, the Young Pastors & Leaders Conference (YPLC) has evolved into a nationally recognized experience, drawing attendees from across the country and around the world.

Now entering its 14th year, the YPLC continues to strengthen the church by developing leaders who are faithful, focused, and future-ready.
